My latest middle grade book Strays released June 2, 2026. This book comes from a truly personal place, and I’d love for you to read about it on my 6/3/26 blog post.
On today’s Wet Nose Wednesday, let’s talk about critters and emotions. Sometimes I wonder if we underestimate the ability of our furry, feathered, finned, or scaley companions to have a range of emotions. But I genuinely believe they do.
Take the story of Chucky – a senior dog who spent six years in the shelter before finding the perfect home. His happiness, his gratitude? Yeah. It’s plastered all over his face.
As I say, animals bring so much hope, humor, love and compassion into our lives. As I continue with Wet Nose Wednesday, I want to share heartwarming and extraordinary tales (and sometimes tails) about the greatness and inspiration of animals and the people who honor them. Let's keep making the world better. For them and for us.
